"Let's Talk About It w/ T. Pablo" it's P-DOT if you haven't heard her before!

P-Dot an up and rising rapper in Detroit, MI was recently interviewed on "Let's Talk About It with T. Pablo" Here you will hear her story about creating her music, how she started and a little of what's to come.

A little more P-Dot:

At the age of thirteen, Pamela Tynisha Willis a.k.a. P-DoT was introduced to the rap game. She attended Frank Cody High School on Detroit’s Westside where, during lunch hour, she, along with a few of her classmates would battle rap. She quickly gained recognition and respect for being one of the only females lyricists brave enough to step in the battles and shine. It wasn’t until the summer of 1993 when she met D.Troy Jones, Mack from Live Action Entertainment, Rod B. Gutta, known then as Snyp the General, Earl Smoov, producer and songwriter, and broke the ice in the studio and recorded her first solo titled “The Wrong Hoe 2 Provoke”. Taken under the wing of both Mack & D.Troy Jones, P-Dot has had the pleasure of being a part of some of the best Detroit underground collaboration albums.. She displays her talent in various styles and can write any style from commercial to reality rap. Both her delivery and stage presentation showcases the “originality” of Hip Hop. She is inspired by artist such as M.C. Lyte, Missy Elliott, Eve, The Conscious Daughters and The Lady of Rage. To this day, P-DoT continues to pursue her hip hop career. She is constantly promoting, making appearances and performing in different areas from Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, New York & Atlanta. P-Dot is always practicing her craft, breaking ground on every stage possible; her main objective is to share her talent with the world and wants her story to be heard. She hopes to one day be recognized for her lyrical skills and has just released her first solo project August 1, 2015 titled “WHO IS IT”? Since the release she has already sold 600 copies and counting. She has all the hunger, drive and ability to make it far with her talent. To date, P-Dot has completed her 2nd project titled "Body & Barz" due to be released September 2017 and is working on her 3rd project titled "Pushin' My Pen" due out January 2018.

Just debut at her CD release party...Tiye Stylz laid a real nice one on us with this one, so If you haven't heard of her, she's the one to follow. From the first day I've met her, this girl knows how to work, promoting her music as well as selling it to be heard. And not to mention it one of those that a girl can ride with, not a song just for the fellas...FEAT. BOLDLY JAMES here is "WINNER" by Tiye StylZ.

Well this was just one. Over the summer I got to meet some very talented folks that are really working to make their name in Detroit. Well let's just say they got my attention. Having them submit their music to me for the 8th Detroit Black Music Awards and having some of them come out, which  was a very interesting experience for them and me. And it would be something I'll implement every year. It was a chance for them to network with each other and an opportunity to get their music heard over DetroitHottRadio.com.

Last Monday Oct 24 I received another awesome song for DetroitHottRadio New Music Monday...
sent to me via Google+ And this beautiful I've had the pleasure of writing about before, she came out with a song early summer which I will post but this one came to me for New Music Monday, called "Can't Let Go" feat. Angela Davis Wilmonie Page by Frank Simmons III.

It's a song I can listen to everyday. Very nice and mellow. Take a listen and make sure you turn into Detroit Hott Radio. Believe if it comes across me it's going to be heard. But this song here, has a five star approval. Thanks to Angela Davis for submitting it to me when I requested it.
